His "dream car" so to speak , A 1988 Nissan Maxima SE.

We found it up in our local touge roads parked in someone's yard. Note was left, Money was handed over, end of story.

Such a cruel bitch.

I swear to god if she was a physical being, I would have already done this by now and then elbowed her in the head. Atleast my girlfriend finds it funny that I hate this weather with a passion & thinks it's not L.A. for a reason.

It is February 5th, and there's approx 4 feet of snow still in my yard.
I cannot see my Sc400, as it is completely iced in, the Corolla is surrounded by a 3foot section of snow, and the Cressida... It is going to be a mission to get to where it is to attempt pulling the harness out so I can simplify it.

With all this fucking snow, the garage is currently occupied by snow removal equipment and the motor for my truck.

So far it is a 5cyl 3VZE. The #6 Piston/rod setup is patiently waiting to go in.
To add insult to injury, The Celica took a shit on me today,

I haven't driven the car in a week since I didn't feel like paying a snow plow to make a path for me to and from work.
So...the roads have finally cleared up enough for me to get the car out and drive it around and run my errands.
Driving it home last night, the alternator locks up & the voltage regulator seems to be fried as the car comes to a slow halt on the Grand Central Parkway.

The death toll for project Daily awesome...
1. Neg. Lead for the battery that melted.
1. Battery, as it seems its on its way out.
1. Alternator.
1. Agitated owner, who is tired of this weather.

Well, Tomorrow is another day & I should be able to get an reman unit locally.
Maybe if i'm lucky enough I can install the fog lamps that have been sitting on the backseat for a little while now.

I must say.. even though many beg to differ, I do like the way the Celica looks even though it is not currently running lol.
I put on my Yakima roof rack & threw on some 30mm spacers I had laying around the garage on the stock steelies. The Starsharks are on my snowmobile corolla currently.

I adore it.

So yea, if I have not relayed enough about how much I hate this weather... let me fill you in a little on why I am so ticked off.

I work outside 8 hours a day, doesn't matter weather conditions
The MX63 project is on hold cause of this shit storm
The 4runner motor is on hold cause of this also
The JZX73 is on hold till it clears up
I haven't been able to start my Corolla up in a 6 weeks,
the Sc4 has not been driven since mid December
& The Celica's alternator took a shit since it got flooded with snow & rain from driving through this mess.

ugh... California cannot come sooner.
And on a side note...

Spring awaits sheer awesomeness :D...

Well, since my truck is still down due to SK Speed taking forever with the machining of the parts for my motor, the Celica is still my daily driver.

Project Daily Awesome.

If I haven't introduced you to the car, here it is.

1984 Celica GT
Gold with a brown interior.
60K miles.

Runs decent, its has a misfire & the heat sucks balls.

So far the Celica has been good to me
It has a new water pump. ( 3 month long fiasco due to my complete retardation)
85 Cressida Technics radio & Pioneer Rear speakers

And today it gets a lighting upgrade.

Since this car was built in the 80s the lighting sucks, by that I really mean its atrocious.
In certain conditions, you cant see shit at night & my poor night vision doesnt help anything either.

I had some H4 bulbs made by Philips. They're the Motovision models , if you couldn't guess...
They're for motorcycles, with a pretty unique beam pattern.
I had these in the Corolla before I upgraded to HIDS & I loved them

By accident I found some H4 housings on craigslist a week ago
Fluted dlass lens, some guy brought them back from japan a while ago and had been sitting on them.

$25 managed to put them into my hands.

Next up for lighting will be some Fog lamps.
Not for the fog in NY , but more to look cool :D lol

Im installing them as we speak & cannot wait for tonight to test these out.

I bought a truck finally
Grey 2nd Gen 4runner with a serious case of the clap.

Gonna rebuild the motor in the upcoming weeks and then daily it & use it to do truck like things.

Got a mild lift kit im piecing together for it too.
3" lift & 35's.

Thats what im going for, but I love my truck 15x better cause its graphite grey/charcoal grey.

So finally after years and years of wanting to go here, i've finally done it

Im currently in Rowland Heights contemplating what to do today with all the possibilites

One thing for sure, I AM MOVING HERE IN THE NEAR FUTURE.

Ny just doesn't cut it compared to this place, the people, the atmoesphere, the lifestyle..
It is a very chill and relaxed place to be, there no hustle and bustle stress of NY that you must deal with on a daily basis, the people are friendly... and the best part of it all.

Finally got Jibs car running.

Damian shot the wires going to the coil and there was nothing,
We ripped out the harness and dropped in a "new" S13 KA harness and VIOLA!

It fired up.

I took apart and found out the wires we pulled from another harness to extend this were burnt..
Turns out the harness that was given to him to hack up and pull wires from came from a engine fire car that was more severe than expected..
LOL

Everything is extended now and should work fine.

While picking up some receipts from a friends shop to beat some tickets I recently acquired, I spotted this gem..

Kouki S14 with what appears to SR swapped.

The Mad Parts SPL sticker on the side leads me to believe Damian from Tarmac Motorsports prob swapped the SR into this S chassis.

The car is done tastefully with the J-spec Silvia badges on the trunk and hood.
HKS Hi power canister and z32 brakes all the way around.

Well done on execution, although.. in my opinion
NEEDS MOAR LOWAR.

I picked up a DSLR today.

Canon EOS Rebel XS.. it was a tough choice between the Canon or a Nikon D40..
In the end I opted for the Rebel because of a few people's suggestions..

RAYS is releasing a new line of the infamous TE37 wheels.

The TE37V, Aimed at old cars, they have a nice dish AND have a lip to them.
Supposedly to go on sale and the end of April.

If you didnt catch it also.. They're using the font they used in the 80's on many of their wheels <3>

All the work was performed by the Gazi himself, who is no stranger to boosted SC's, his last car, was making close to 550 through a NA-T setup on the a virtually Stock 2JZGE. The car he builds are a testament to the word clean.
Everything looks factory fresh & by far exceeds the build quality you normally receive from a shop. Definitely a labor of love and it shows by the amount of time poured over little details and the meticulous craftsmanship of the handmade parts. Ill stop talking now and let the pictures speak for themselves.

Last Dyno session before a few more mods were added, This car made 446 at 16lbs through a stock sc300 rear exhaust section and pump gas off the Blitz Ecu, The AEM wasn't installed yet or tuned. Should be closer if not exceeding 500hp due to the tuning skills of Brian Doyle, the man better known as "chevyeater" over at SupraForums.

Driving to a friend's house to celebrate his marriage today I took a quick spin by the scrap metal processors..

I was in shock and awe to see this.

A true grandma car. The side windows had 4 sale taped onto them, for what appears to be from year and years ago

The frame didnt look too bad, Surface rust and typical quarter panel rust. I wanted to hijack that flatbed and drop this car off in a heated garage where it would one day be appreciated for its vintage appeal, and not sent away like unwanted remains of the past

Seriously... All the fucking hyundais on the road that are falling apart and the newer piece of shit FoMoCo products out there and this is still happening to timeless pieces of art.

If you couldnt tell by now, Im a avid lover of cars, the older the better

I walked to the front, no intercooler showing, so most likely its just a stock 2JZGE for now.

Went ice skating.

Flushing Rink looked like Tijuana,
I should have not expected such low standands.

The ice was amazingly smooth, until Corona stepped in the building and proceeded to make the rink look like a 50 car pile up in a blizzard on the LIE.

Shortly After this picture was taken she was being dragged around the rink by the dude she was with, I totally forgot her name.

Kyoto - " Creative Japanese & Thai Cuisine " ... Seemed pretty damn regular to me.

NOTE
I parked my Hachi right infront the Japanese resturant, got that whole jDm-tYt3 feel going on.

Spider Roll & Spicy Yellowtail, Pretty fresh and the Yellowtail was amazing.

The squid was pretty bland, shrimp wasn't de-shelled
BUT i'm not going to complain, The huge Mojito and draft Sapporo made it all go down with ease.
Its been 2 hours since I had their food, I'm not throwing up yet, So something must have clicked right.

A friend ( same dude in the first picture, that looks like his tongue is frozen to the glass ) borrowed my OEM Alloys for the winter, So im sitting on some 20" MRR HR3s
even though its super hard parked, Im gonna drop the coils even further to produce rim tuckage on the 20s
Its disgusting to look at right now, It looks like stock height with 0 wheel gap, Prior to the Donktacular wheels, it was tucking & poking 18" Eurolines, SUPER HELLA FLUSH. Right now it feels straight out of a Ying Yang twins video, Im gonna make a mix of straight southern hardcore rap and blast it with the car sitting in the yard so all the neighbors can feel like were living in the ATL.
